As the founder, CEO, and Program Manager, Kimberly M. Green has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the field of social services. Kimberly M. Green has over 25 years of experience in social services, demonstrating adaptability in working with diverse populations such as the homeless, elderly,children, and adults. I have worked in areas such as HIV, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Probation/Parole, linking to services such as Medicaid/Medicare, Social Security,Housing, Legal Services and working in collaboration with agencies such as Child and Family Services and the Department of Probation/Parole.
My Story
I originally started Change Reaction Inc. in 2001 as a non-profit to provide transitional housing for persons who were homeless and HIV/AIDS positive. After experiencing the death of both my parents in 1999 and then in 2001, two years to the date of each other, I
decided to re-group and step away for a while. After gaining more experience and working with different populations, I found my passion for the Mental Health and Substance Abuse population. I decided to keep the name but start a Mental Health Agency collaborating with a substance abuse agency. I want to start a mental health agency because, after working for several agencies in different capacities, I observed significant breakdowns in the services. I realized I enjoy working with this population and can deliver quality services. Change Reaction is committed to providing the highest quality of care and support to our consumer’s overall well-being. Change Reaction services adults and children in Prince Georges County and all surrounding counties.
